My trip to London and Paris is almost here, and I just can't believe it. How is it possible that I am finally going to have my first trip abroad? I am so excited! The Globe Theatre, Baker Street, and the Tower of London are so close that I can taste them. Sure, there are a million details to work out before I go (cough, cough - getting my financial aid check), but I'm strangely enjoying every minute of the mad scramble. Plus, I get to pack while preparing for the trip by watching The Tudors and Poirot. What more can a girl really ask for? I know that I'll forget to pack at least one thing (probably thanks to the distracting Tudors), and I know that this worry is likely causing me to really overpack. But, I'll live and learn I guess. At least, except for the small detail of fitting it all in the suitcase, almost everything is ready to go. All I can do is hope that singing songs from Mary Poppins will inspire my suitcase to be like her bag.
