So far today we've had the meet and greet breakfast, the security meeting (aren't you happy Dad :), and the practical walking tour. Our poor tour guide Cory (otherwise known as our hero who picked us up from our airport nightmare) did such a great job, but keeping track of all of us on the busy London streets must have been a nightmare for her.
Merle and I wandered to Regent's Park. It is absolutely beautiful, and I really felt like I was in London when I saw a group of adorable English kids in their uniforms (sorry no picture because that felt totally creepy). We wanted to go inside the park and explore, but we realized that we were going to miss the security meeting if we did. So that's still on the to do list. Right now I just feel like I'm living inside my favorite BBC shows, and I love it! The Coupling music keeps running through my head, and I feel like I'm going to meet the cast around every corner.
So far I am loving every minute of London! Next, we're off to Hyde Park for the concerts.
